2013-2014

For the financial year 2013-2014, we received £173,000

As in 2012-2013, we used this funding to support our mentoring programme for individual children. (£85,800)

20 half days per week @110 per half day x 39 weeks = £85,800

We used the remaining funding for the appointment of several additional members of staff:

  • 1 x full-time teacher specifically focused on Teaching English as a Foreign Language
  • 1 x full-time teaching assistant focussed on Writing
  • 1 x full-time teaching assistant focussed on Maths
  • 1 x full-time teaching assistant focussed on Reading in EYFS/KS1
  • 1 x full-time teaching assistant focussed on Reading in KS2

Total = £109,000

Any remaining balance has been used as a contribution towards the school’s music programme, which ensures that we can involve all disadvantaged children at no extra cost.

2012-2013

For the financial year 2012-2103 we received £111,600.

We used a majority of this funding to support our mentoring programme for individual children. (£82,000)

19 half days per week @ £110 per half day x 39 weeks = £82,000.

We used the balance of £30,000 for similar booster group activities to the previous year, such as an Easter School, after school booster groups , and an additional year 6 teacher

2011-2012

For the financial year 2011-2012 we received £78080.

We used this money primarily for staffing costs for additional booster classes (£55,000).

£10,000 has been used for the provision of an Easter School, after school booster groups, and other curriculum enhancing resources such as the RML phonics training, the Catching Words Programme and Open Futures (Cook it, Grow it, Film it, Ask it).

The remaining £13,000 has been used as a contribution towards the school’s music programme, which ensures that we can involve all disadvantaged children at no extra cost.
